Plastic Surgery in Heart

Plastic Surgery in Heart

The field of medicine is growing by the day and the advancement in the field of surgery is quite commendable. One such important area of work is that of a plastic surgeon and plastic surgery. The new methods that are introduced in the surgical field are helping millions around the globe. Plastic surgery is quite often considered to be the same as cosmetic surgery. But that is not exactly the case. A plastic surgeon is one who undertakes reconstructive surgery for functional reasons. A cosmetic surgeon as the name suggests does surgeries for aesthetic reasons. Cosmetic surgery is a part of plastic surgery.

More and more people are going in for cosmetic surgery today. People go to a cosmetic surgeon for various reasons from abdominal contouring where surgery of the abdomen would result in a slimmer you and at the same time the body would be more proportionate. Abdominal liposuction is done by removing the excess fat in the region and the waistline is reduced instantly. This surgery to reduce the abdomen fat is known as abdominoplasty. The abdominoplasty can also be partial and this is also known as mini-tummy tuck. The ideal candidate for this would be a person who has a small area of abdomen that has begun to sag. Women with excess fat after delivery generally go in for tummy tucks and a mommy makeover is what you get with the surgery. The liposuction procedure is used to remove the excess fat. It can be done on various areas of the body where fat tends to deposit. A liposuction surgeon contemplates the pros and cons before undertaking the liposuction surgery. Liposuction thighs are for removing the excess fat from the thigh region. There is also breast liposuction, facial liposuction, neck liposuction, liposuction for the buttocks, abdomen and even the arm or anywhere else in the body. Cosmetic surgery liposuction can also be at times a plastic surgery. A plastic surgery liposuction is done to reduce the abdomen size where the patient’s life is at risk due to the excess fat deposit.

With the beauty business getting so popular the job of the cosmetic surgeon is also increasing. From models to the ordinary woman, everyone is conscious of her looks. Every part of the body can be surgically corrected today. For ones with small breasts they visit breast augmentation surgeons. A breast augmentation surgery would involve a breast implant that would increase the size of the breast. Breast augmentation surgery is the same as breast enhancement surgery, breast enlargement surgery and breast implant surgery. Just like breast enhancement you would also find a breast reduction surgeon to help those who would want to reduce the size of their breasts. Breast reduction is also known as reduction mammaplasty. For those with sagging breasts a breast uplift surgery is available. Breast lifting gives the woman an added confidence. It tightens and firms up the breast. This surgery is also known as mastopexy. Both breast lift and reduction are done for aesthetic reasons.

Breast plastic surgery should be done through experienced surgeons only. Before undertaking any kind of such surgery one must ensure that you visit only certified plastic surgeons.

What your plastic surgeon/anesthesiologist will want from you is an eval from your cardiologist stating they have given you cardiac clearance for surgery. It's something they do all the time. If you have been seen within the past year by your cardiologist, it's possible that you could call his/her nurse and request that over the phone. If not, they'll want to see you first.

Where do you get the idea that Gloria Steinem had plastic surgery? I've never heard that and can't find any evidence of it.

  5. Well...hello there says:

No, I do not consider it unethical. I think it is often frivolous, but not unethical.

By your logic, it would be unethical for the disabled to try and rise above their limitations.

Why do people presume that God is stagnant? That he wants his creations to remain unchanging forever? That he doesn't want humanity to actually decide their own fate?

GASP you have a serious issue. Your daughter needs to make her own decision about what she wants to look like. If you tell her she needs surgery etc what's that going to make her thing? She's not good enough or worth your time which will hurt her or anyone that you told that to badly.

Imagine if I told you that you are so ugly you should go get plastic surgery. Would you not be offended?

Your daughter needs to be herself and decide when and if she's ready to have it or if she even wants to have it. Plus if you start this plastic surgery too soon it can become something like an addiction.

Lay off the ridiculous comments and enjoy life… with your daughter whilst you have her.

I am 22 and I had 3 open heart surgeries when I was a child. I had what's called 'Single Ventricle' and I had the 'Fontan Procedure' which is a series of three surgeries for major repairs. My scar is vertical, from about my clavicals to two fingers above my belly button and assorted scars around it from tubes that drained fluid.
I used to hate it, but now I just don't care. I don't really notice it, and no one else seems to care. Most people are just honestly curious and I'd rather they ask than stare so I don't get upset when they ask, I welcome questions, and most people, after hearing the story think it's pretty cool. I thought about getting rid of it, but why?

Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

    Hope this helps.

The plastic surgery started in the early nineties (I think). He messed his jaw up so much boxing that he had to have it fixed and someone suggested plastic surgery to fix what he felt was wrong and it went from there. It's a shame, but for true Mickey fans, I don't think any of us give it a thought, he's still Mickey and always will be. He's an awesome actor. People don't take him seriously enough. He's really good at what he does.

"They just want to profit" – so doctors shouldn't be allowed to make some money after putting all the time and money into training? Dang.

Surgeries are expensive because there are a lot of things and people you need to pay for. Anesthesia (btw, why not say it's their fault for costs versus the surgeon huh??? They are doctors too). Hospital overhead and OR time. Supplies, etc.

Insurance doesn't cover cosmetic surgery because the of the cost. Imagine the cost of premiums if insurance companies covered plastic surgeries! So few people would be able to afford insurance.

BTW, major operations cost more than that. If you don't know, don't comment.

Also, as for degree of difficulty, it's relative. Lets see a cardiothoracic surgeon do a nose job and a plastic surgeon do a heart transplant. It would be difficult for both of them! They weren't trained in every surgery.
